Alumnus bridging Silicon Valley to auto industry

John MaddoxJohn Maddox '96 Master of Engineering Management joins the newly formed advisory council aimed at bridging Silicon Valley to the auto industry through high-level strategic planning in the area of automotive technology.

Maddox joins Magna’s Chief Technology Officer (CTO) and four other members to “provide direction to Magna's technology road maps and identify additional business opportunities.”

Other council members include: Mei-Wei Cheng (board of directors at Seagate Technology PLC), Tony Fadell (inventor of the iPod, an inventor of the iPhone, founder of Nest), Dr. Ian Hunter (professor of mechanical engineering at MIT) and Paul Mascarenas (member of the Board of Directors at ON Semiconductor and the United States Steel Corporation)
